Riverside Midwives Mother & Baby Café
Held on the first Thursday of every month, 10.30am-12pm, at Dorney Court Garden Centre SL6 6QP - a relaxed space to get support, ask questions, and meet other local parents.
Local Breastfeeding Groups
Windsor and Maidenhead has an active Breastfeeding Network (BfN) group offering weekday drop-in support, as well as an Association of Breastfeeding Mothers (ABM) group in the area. For current times and locations, use the BfN and ABM "find a group near you" tools, or ask me directly and I can point you in the right direction.
National Breastfeeding Helpline
Free, confidential support from trained volunteers, available 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Call 0300 100 0212. Support is also available in Welsh and Polish.
Association of Breastfeeding Mothers (ABM) & Breastfeeding Network (BfN)
Both organisations run the National Breastfeeding Helpline together, and their individual websites offer detailed, evidence-based articles and factsheets you can browse in your own time.
La Leche League GB
Offers peer support through local groups and a helpline, run by trained breastfeeding counsellors with personal breastfeeding experience.
